How it works

No jargon, no surprises — the whole thing, from the first call to the fourth year.

What a survey actually finds

Four things a single number hides

These come up on almost every site we measure, and none of them show up in one daily figure.

The loudest hour is not the average hour

A daily average can sit under 85 dB(A) while an hour of it sits over 95. The plan has to deal with the hour, not the average.

Protection is measured at the ear

Not on the box. What your people actually wear, fitted the way they actually fit it, is the number that counts.

Peaks hide inside averages

Impulsive work — presses, drop tests, nail guns — needs its own peak reading or it disappears into the day's figure entirely.

The same job reads differently in a different room

Hard walls give it all straight back. Two identical machines, two sites, two different numbers.

Step 01

You take the 60-second check, or call us

Four questions about what you run and how long for. It gives you a guide immediately, and it costs nothing.

Step 02

We agree the price before anything happens

One fee for the whole four years, quoted up front — no annual re-quote, no uplift when we come back, and 25% off the first assessment.

Step 03

We measure your site as it normally runs

Nothing gets switched off or slowed for us. We measure by area and by role, so a grinder bay and a picking aisle are separate figures, not one average.

Step 04

You get the assessment and a plan you can act on

Real exposure levels, where the action values are crossed, which zones need marking, and what would bring the noise itself down.

Step 05

We keep it current for four years

New machine, new line, new shift pattern, or just time passing — we re-measure and re-issue, rather than leaving you with a document that quietly stopped being true.

Step 06

You always have the records

Every assessment and review kept and reissued on request — so when an auditor, insurer or customer asks, the answer takes a minute rather than a week.

Where this stops being enough

The Care Plan is a scheduled, repeatable assessment regime — not a substitute for specialist engineering noise control design, or for a formal, signed-off report where one is contractually or legally required for a specific purpose. Where that’s the case, we say so and point you to who can provide it. Most of what the Care Plan gives you is knowing, before that specialist is commissioned, exactly where you stand and what it would cost to fix.

Common questions

The things people ask first

How long does the assessment take on the day?

A typical small-to-mid site is measured within about 90 minutes. Larger multi-area sites take a half-day. We work around you, not the other way round.

Do we have to stop production?

No — and you shouldn't. Measuring a quiet version of your floor gives a number that's no use to anyone. We measure it running normally.

What happens if we buy a new machine?

Tell us and we re-measure the affected area as part of keeping the four-year assessment current — no extra cost, no re-quote.

Try it on your own room

Seeing whether there’s a problem is free. You only pay once you know you want the report.
